We are currently looking for an experienced construction surveyor.
Duties:
• Perform construction layout for various sites (commercial, roads, substations, airports etc)
• Setup, use and maintain survey equipment including robotic total station, digital level, and GPS
• Engineering survey
• Quantity survey
• As-built survey
• Legal survey
Requirements:
• proficient with Trimble Robotic total station and GPS
• minimum of 3 years experience as a construction surveyor in a Party Chief role with strong knowledge of surveying techniques, standards, and procedures
• ability to work out of town for short periods of time on occasion
• attention to detail and quality
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• ability to work autonomously
• effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
• computer literate
• Have clean driving abstract
• Be physically fit and able to work in inclement weather elements
• Work overtime hours as required
