Position Summary: Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre Calgary Airport is looking for the position of Catering Manager who provides support to our sales and events team. This role is the first point of contact with customers. Must be comfortable dealing with customers in person, over the phone, and via email. This position has great growth potential for the right individual.

Job Types: Full-time

Duties
• Plan and execute catering events from conception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Manage food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage budgets for catering events.
• Conduct interviews and train new staff members in hospitality standards and food handling procedures.
• Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored catering solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, equipment, and utensils; place orders as necessary.
• Lead team meetings to foster communication, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Proven experience in catering management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Experience in restaurant management or kitchen operations is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.
