We’re looking for English-speaking professionals to join a remote emergency support team for a short-term government campaign responding to the 2025 forest fires.

This fully remote role is ideal for someone who’s dependable, responsive, and comfortable handling sensitive calls with care and professionalism.

Shifts between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM CST

Weekend availability is required

Start date: Friday, May 30, 2025
Contract: Short-term, with potential for extension depending on campaign needs

English only: $17.00/hour (any province except Ontario)
English only: $17.20/hour (Ontario only)

Answer inbound calls with professionalism and empathy

Support individuals affected by forest fires with clear and compassionate guidance

Follow scripted responses while adapting naturally to callers’ needs

Accurately document call details and escalate cases when needed

Remain calm, supportive, and efficient in high-volume situations

Qualifications
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Minimum 6 months of customer service or call center experience preferred

Comfortable using scripts while keeping a fluid, natural tone

Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends

Tech setup: PC with Windows OS (Mac not compatible), wired internet, USB headset

Must pass a background check
