Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a patient-focused setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing clinical services, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage
Practice full scope including minor ailments, medication reviews, clinical opinions and injections
Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards
Maintain and update patient profiles and documentation
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Supervise and support pharmacy assistants
Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (experience with Kroll is an asset)
Previous community pharmacy experience preferred
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Schedule:
Part-time daytime hours, and some Saturdays.
