• Job Summary:*
FF, a vibrant and community-focused cafe, is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Barista with a flair for both coffee creation and culinary arts. • Responsibilities:*
– Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to FF’s recipes and quality standards.
– Utilize cooking/baking skills to assist in the preparation of cafe menu items, ensuring all food served meets our high standards of taste and presentation.
– Offer outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
– Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including coffee blends, tea varieties, and food offerings, to provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries.
– Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of espresso machines and other cafe equipment.
– Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary, and communicate needs to the management team.
– Keep the cafe environment clean and inviting, including both the service and seating areas.
– Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system.
– Engage in ongoing learning and training to enhance service quality and product knowledge.
• Skills and Qualifications:*
– Cooking/baking experience is also required, with the ability to assist in food preparation and presentation.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on engaging positively and warmly with customers.
– Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong teamwork abilities, with a willingness to support and collaborate with colleagues.
– Availability to work part-time hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
