Job Summary
The Corporation is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality life care services. Reporting to the Director of Care, this position will encompass the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of residents.
Responsibilities
• Deliver quality life care in accordance with The Corporation’s mission, vision, and values statement.
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment, adhering to legislated standards and guidelines.
Requirements
• Post-secondary education in Nursing with a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Ability to exercise respect, tact, diplomacy, and good judgment when interacting with residents and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills and technical ability to operate computerized equipment.
• Knowledge and training under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Satisfactory vulnerable sector screening check.
Compensation and Benefits
This part-time and casual position offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $36.45 to $51.12 per hour. Recognition for recent and relevant service will be provided in accordance with the ONA Collective Agreement. Additionally, compensation includes a percentage in lieu of benefits for part-time & casual employees and membership in OMERS.
