Totally Tutors ™ is a service that provides high quality tutoring by matching the student’s needs with the best available tutor. We match the skills of over 150 certified teachers to the needs of students Grade 1 to 12 in all academic areas. We focus on matching the teacher’s knowledge and skills to the child’s educational needs keeping in mind personalities and interests. We locate the students to match your teaching qualifications so you can tutor with ease.
Totally Tutors is currently seeking teachers certified by the Ontario College of Teachers located in Etobicoke/West Toronto.
Math Tutor Grade 1-12
Science Tutor Grade 9-12
Language (Reading & Writing) Tutor Grade 1-12
Experience teaching students with Learning Disabilities and ADHD is considered as asset.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide one on one tutoring in client’s home (adult present in the home)
• Tutors can work from 1 – 10 hours a week.
• Tutors work according to their schedule after school from 4 – 8pm or on weekends.
• Ability to travel by TTC or car to student’s homes for in-home tutoring (20 minute commute).
• Organize and prepare relevant materials and lessons to tutor student.
• Monitor student progress and communicate progress to parent.
• Develop a positive and professional relationship with students and their families.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
