Houseperson

**The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary University is looking for a full time Houseperson to join our team**
– Work side-by-side with our Housekeeping team to maintain a clean and tidy hotel
– Responsible for cleaning interior and exterior corridors, guest public areas including pool and fitness facilities, parking lot and service areas
– Sweep and mop public spaces including breakfast area
– Coordinate with our maintenance team for any repairs spotted throughout the hotel
– Assist Housekeepers and the Front Desk in guest requests and room delivery /requests
– Clean and tidy all public area restrooms
– Clean/set up function spaces as required
• *Essential Elements**
• *Physical Requirements**:
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to work with cleaning products and solvents regularly.
• *Salary**: $16.00-$16.50 per hour

Schedule:

– 8 hour shift
– Day shift
– Morning shift
– Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

– Calgary, AB T2M 4L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
