Austrian Canadian Cultural Centre -Now Hiring: Permanent Part-Time Food and Beverage Servers
The Austrian-Canadian Cultural Centre is located in NE Calgary and provides a fine European dining experience to our guests. Our menu offers an array of Austrian & German selections, each hand-crafted using fresh, quality ingredients. Our dining room and lounge cater to our members for lunch and dinner as well as larger special celebrations. We have Austrian & German beer on tap and offer a whole range of European beers and wines.
The Austrian-Canadian Cultural Centre has a large, devoted membership base. The clubs atmosphere and annual events help celebrate Austrian-Canadian culture.
Successful Servers have friendly, outgoing personalities, and they can be polite and professional while making dining relaxing and convenient.
Requirements:
3+ years industry experience
Pro-serve certification
Strong team work mentality
Ability to build professional relationships with guests and create an air of familiarity
Accommodating and willing to go the extra mile
Learn and maintain knowledge of food and specialty beverage menus
Table service for guests (greeting, taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily specials, alerting kitchen to guest allergies as needed)
Experience and Key Attributes:
Attention to detail
Ability to organize and plan
Excellent verbal communication (speaking German is an asset but not required)
Product knowledge
Desire to be a part of a small tight-knit team and contribute as such
Compensation
Compensation is based on skills, training and experience. Rate: $ 15.00 /hr plus tips
Daily staff meal included.

• serving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
• Proserve, Smart Serve, or equivalent (required)
