Fulfillment Center Safety:
At Amazon, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our employees. As a Workplace Health and Safety Specialist Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our fulfillment centers operate safely and efficiently.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in designing, building, improving, and innovating order fulfillment safety programs, projects, initiatives, and other elements of the Workplace Health & Safety organization across the three lanes (first mile, middle mile, and last mile) of Amazon’s fulfillment infrastructure.
You will also have the opportunity to work with various Workplace Health and Safety Teams and other WHS interns on safety-related projects, research, interpret, and share data to support safety recommendations, and participate in WHS Intern activities and events to expand your professional network.
• *Training and Development:**
• OSHA10, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, technical writing, and intro to project management training
• Developing strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Learning about and working with cross-functional teams
• *Requirements:**
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree with an expected completion date between December 2025 and August 2026
• Working towards a degree in Health Science, Safety Engineering, Health & Safety, Safety Management, or related field
• Previous experience in safety-related employment or knowledge of Canadian OHS Provincial Laws
• Strong communication and influencing skills
