We are seeking individuals who possess a strong understanding of child development, exceptional engagement skills, and a dedication to fostering positive relationships with both children and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and exhibit outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Prior experience is advantageous, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 1, 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification.
Key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to):
• Implementing engaging programming tailored to the interests and needs of the children.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment.
• Leading and supporting children in integrated learning and recreational activities.
• Actively supervising and engaging with children while ensuring their well-being.
• Assisting in providing regular communication to parents.
• Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Participating in professional development initiatives.
• Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Magic Mountain’s policies and procedures to ensure quality care.
