About This Role:
The Duty Manager – North will be responsible for holding regular weekly Duty Manager shifts at regional facilities, working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with irregular and extended hours. You will operate at multiple regional facilities across the association, maintaining a fast-paced work environment with high pressure and stress situations. You will provide excellent customer service and de-escalate situations with effective communication skills, multitask, and prioritize to meet facility operations demands, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure the safety of all facility users.
Responsibilities:
• Holding regular weekly Duty Manager shifts at regional facilities
• Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with irregular and extended hours
• Operating at multiple regional facilities across the association
• Maintaining a fast-paced work environment with high pressure and stress situations
• Providing excellent customer service and de-escalating situations with effective communication skills
• Multitasking and prioritizing to meet facility operations demands
• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the safety of all facility users
• Ensuring facility security and following opening and closing procedures
• Responding to facility emergencies, first aid requests, incidents, and thefts
• Accurately recording incidents and interactions through internal reporting systems
• Coordinating emergency responses within the branch, including contacting emergency services and administering first aid and CPR when required
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education is preferred
• Proven experience acting as a leader in dynamic environments, people, and situations
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Experience in a leadership position
• Interest in and dedication to Health and Safety policy and procedure
• Able to multitask and demonstrate strong time-management skills
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification within the last 12 months from an approved AB OHS provider
• Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
