Job Overview
Project Kuiper is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at expanding global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Project Kuiper Canada Consumer team as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for leading business planning initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development of annual operating plans, quarterly guidance, monthly business outlook, and weekly business reviews. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including GTM, Demand Generation, Lifecycle Management, Sales, Product, Operations, Demand and Capacity Planning, Finance, and Business Intelligence, to drive the execution of multi-year business plans. As a key member of the team, you will have frequent opportunities to interact with and present to leadership.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and lead annual operating plans, working collaboratively with partner teams to align on subscriber, revenue, fixed and variable costs, and profit targets for Canada.
2. Drive the quarterly guidance process by analyzing trends, preparing performance summaries, and providing revised projections with recommended adjustments based on actualized business performance.
3. Manage monthly business outlook by assessing key risks and opportunities, evaluating business and category conditions, and recommending mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
4. Oversee monthly goal reviews by tracking KPI progress, coordinating stakeholder reviews, and communicating achievement status to leadership.
5. Coordinate weekly business reviews through performance updates, operational metric monitoring, and cross-functional team coordination.
6. Publish comprehensive competitive intelligence analyses to country leadership on category dynamics, competitor strategies, and industry trends for key stakeholders.
7. Partner with operations teams to optimize in-stock management, ensuring inventory alignment with forecasts and maintaining service level targets.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree
– 5+ years of experience in product or program management, business planning, or data analytics
– Experience with forecasting and working with large data sets
– Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads, while maintaining high attention to detail
– Process-oriented mindset and ability to lead, problem solve, and get things done
Bonus Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Business or Economics
– Track record of driving results through continuous improvement
– Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
