Job Description:
The Onsite Medical Representative will provide first aid and refer Amazon Associates to outside medical providers as needed. The ideal candidate should have experience in health care, knowledge of provincial and federal regulations, and a passion for promoting health and wellness.
• Responsibilities:
• Provide triage and prompt first aid within the scope of training
• Minimize the risk of injury through awareness and education
• Maintain records of care provided
• Develop a first aid care plan for AAs recovering from an injury
• Manage workers’ compensation and return to work process
• Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have one of the following qualifications:
• Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification or Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certification
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sciences, Health Sciences, or Kinesiology
