At West Island College (WIC), we strive to nurture a vibrant and supportive work environment that encourages growth, values contributions, and fosters meaningful connections. Our mission focuses on whole-child education, helping to develop well-rounded individuals.
People are empowered to make decisions, and leadership is seen as a skill that can be nurtured through mentorship and development opportunities. Every voice matters. You are encouraged to share ideas and take ownership of your projects, knowing your input is valued and important.
The smaller, community-focused setting fosters strong relationships and a dynamic learning environment. Staff appreciate the school’s ability to respond quickly to changes and seize opportunities. Lower class sizes and motivated students further contribute to a rewarding and impactful teaching experience. As an independent school, WIC offers unique advantages for our teachers, staff and close-knit community of enthusiastic learners, Grade 7-12. As a university preparatory school, WIC also offers a French Immersion stream.
If you are looking for a place where you can create value and where your contributions are valued, then reach out so we can share more about opportunities at WIC.
