East Park Golf in London, Ontario is looking for a reliable part-time and full-time seasonal gardener. The Gardener at East Park will be responsible for keeping the grounds attractive. The perfect candidate is ready for physical labour in outdoor conditions. An ideal applicant has prior gardening experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Responsibilities include:
• Plant and weed flower beds
• Prune and trim shrubs, hedges, and trees
• Mow, trim and fertilize green spaces
• Mulch, edge and weed gardens
• Monitor and maintain health of plants
• Manage pest problems that could damage plants
• Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter
• Perform basic maintenance such as grass cutting, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking
• Work with and assist grounds and golf crews to maintain all grounds throughout the park
Work Schedule:
• Full-time/part-time
• Seasonal position
Job Requirements:
• 5 days a week commitment with occasional weekends
• Experience as a Gardener
• Knowledge of regional plant life and gardening techniques
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• The ability to remain on feet for long periods of time
• The ability to work on the ground
• A love of outdoors and plant life
• Work with hand tools and basic light machinery
