Scholars of Leaside is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time Primary/Junior Teacher to join our team!
As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars’ teaching methodology. Candidates must be confident teacher primary and junior math concepts up to grade 8. If you’re looking for a rewarding and challenging work environment, we want to hear from you!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Ontario Certified teacher is preferred (flexible at the Centre Director’s discretion)
• Vulnerable Sector Check to be completed
• Previous experience working with students is an asset
• Excellent English oral and written skills
• A passion to help students reach their potential
• Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail
• Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students
Ideal candidates would be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below:
• Monday- Thursday, 3:00PM – 8:00PM
• Saturdays, 9:00AM – 2:00PM
We are looking for teachers to join our team in-centre!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
