Part- Time Banquet and Office Supervisor
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Banquet and Office Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of both banquet events and office tasks, ensuring smooth coordination, exceptional guest service, and efficient administrative support. This is a dynamic position that blends hospitality with office management responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The successful candidate should have the following skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in banquet service, event coordination, or office administration is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A self-motivated individual that takes the initiative and requires minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude that works well with a team as well as solitarily.
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and respond to shifting priorities.
• Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google documents, Facebook, and Instagram.
• A positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Previous marketing experience is an asset
• Background in restaurant management
• Background in office management
• Previous horse experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Banquet Supervision:
• Supervise and assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring high-quality service.
• Ensure all food and beverage services are delivered in accordance with event specifications.
• Coordinate with event planners, cooks, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Supervise banquet staff, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet area before, during, and after events.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
Office Support:
• Greet guests and provide accurate information regarding events and offerings.
• Provide administrative support to the event and operations teams, including handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
• Assist with managing office supplies, inventory, and equipment.
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate event bookings as needed.
• Maintain accurate event records, client information, and correspondence in the office database.
• Help with preparation of event contracts, invoicing, and other paperwork related to bookings and events.
• Provide daily updates to the owner
• Manage day to day operations and staff
• Create and promote upcoming events.
The successful candidate must have the following:
· Own vehicle
· Able to works flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays to accommodate event schedule.
· Compensation negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. Group benefits and gratuity available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
