I’m a mechanical engineering student with a focus on mechatronics and bioengineering, looking for approximately 15-20 hours of private tutoring in information theory. I specifically want to understand the mathematical foundations (Shannon entropy, KL divergence, mutual information) and their applications in things like machine learning papers and free energy principle. My goal is to go beyond passive learning to develop an intuitive understanding that allows me to work with these concepts in research contexts.
