We are seeking dedicated Certified Health Care Aide/PSW’s to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
• Responsibilities*
– Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status
– Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
– Document medication administration and resident care activities accurately
– Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
– Perform heavy lifting and transferring of residents when needed
• Qualifications*
– Certification as a Health Care Aide/PSW or substantial equivalency status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
– Experience in caregiving, patient care, senior care, or dementia care preferred
– Proficient in medication administration procedures
– Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care
– Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

Education:
• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Experience:
• Caregiving: 3 years (required)
