Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We are a breakfast restaurant that is open form 7AM-3 PM looking someone who can work weekdays and/or weekends. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional customer service. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties
Host/Busser
• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor and managing reservations and seating arrangements
• Clearing tables while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Server
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
• Help with food handling tasks, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Experience
• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or hospitality, is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
• Ability to clean and maintain work areas according to health standards.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations is an advantage but not mandatory; we provide training for all new hires.
