We are looking for a Project manager with Oracle ebusiness suite – financial applications and hyperion.

Qualifications

CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS

1. Program management of the Oracle E-Business Suite upgrade and OFA replacement projects.
2. Communication to Executive Sponsor, Steering Committee and IFIS Governance Committee (IGC): Project plan status, benefits realization, project risks and issues.
3. Leadership and oversight of the project strategy development and planning.
4. Development and management of the project scope. Identify and manage change requests that
impact project scope, schedule and budget, ensuring the update of related project
documents/artefacts.
5. Management of project cost, risk, issues, schedule, governance, technical performance, and
program impact of the R12 upgrade and OFA replacement projects.
6. Management of project inter-dependencies including reporting on exposures resulting with inter-
project dependencies.
7. Identification and documentation of requirements for the purpose of completing a detailed project
schedule for the upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite to R12 and replacement of OFA with
Hyperion.
8. Participation in the creation of required project artefacts specified by the OPS Unified Project
Management methodology. These artefacts include but are not limited to:
project charter,
-regular project status reports
-risk logs and risk mitigation strategies
-issue logs and issue resolutions
-change requests and decisions relating to resolution of the requests
-contingency strategies and plans the integrated project plan and completion of project deliverables to approved
9. Management of project budgets and schedules. Development of plans to manage activities and ensure required controls are in place to complete the project deliverables within financial targets.
10. Proactive identification of potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed. Manage the prioritization of risks and issues along with mitigation strategies. Presentation of issues, risks and mitigation strategies to senior project decision makers.
11. Participation in steering committee and stakeholder forums, providing regular project status reports as required by the OPS Unified Project Management methodology.
12. Definition of appropriate strategies and actions to overcome resistance to change and capitalize on forces in support of change during all stages of project- concept, design and implementation.
13. Management of project communications, ensuring open communication with the project team and stakeholders.
14. Adheres to OPS I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, standard methodology and the control of the use of I&IT resources.

Note: The Project Manager will need to be familiar with the OPS Unified Project Management methodology, as well as proficient with Oracle’s AIM methodology. The candidate should be prepared to demonstrate both areas of knowledge within the submission to this request as well during interview evaluations.
