Exceptional Abilities Educational Consultation & Tutoring provides support to parents navigating educational choices and supports for their children. We offer individual and group tutoring for all subject areas and grade levels, delivered by experienced educators. Our educational presentations aim to educate staff and all age groups on specific challenges and how to best support neurodiverse individuals and organizations.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Tutor in Secondary school subjects – Math, Science, and English with Special Ed experience. The Tutor will be responsible for conducting online tutoring sessions, facilitating communication, and providing support in Mathematics, Science, and English, and other subjects The role is based in Calgary, AB with both in-person and online sessions (with in-person sessions as a base setting). Please note, it is a contractor position.
Qualifications
• Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Education (or pursuing)
• Must have: AB Teacher’s certification (or application in progress)
• Experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with Special Ed students is a plus
• Valid PRC (with vulnerable sector check)
• Reliable means of transportation
