Job Title: Part-Time Mother’s Helper/Nanny (2 Days/Week, 11 AM – 4 PM)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable individual to provide support as a mother’s helper/nanny for our two young children. This part-time position is ideal for someone who loves working with toddlers, is experienced in managing multiple children, and enjoys creating a fun and nurturing environment.
I work from home and need someone to care for the children during the day so I can focus on work. The role includes preparing meals for the children, engaging them in meaningful activities, and helping maintain a clean and organized home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare:
– Prepare and cook meals/snacks for the children and assist with feeding them.
– Create and lead engaging activities, such as crafts, cooking, reading, and other hands-on or educational play.
– Avoid screen time (TV or devices) and focus on interactive, creative, and stimulating activities.
Household Support:
– Keep the kitchen clean, including washing dishes (by hand and using the dishwasher), wiping surfaces, and taking out garbage/compost as needed.
– Assist with laundry: washing, folding, and putting away clothes/linens, as well as organizing drawers and closets.
– Tidy and organize toys and related children’s mess to maintain a clutter-free environment.
Requirements:
– Proven experience caring for toddlers and managing multiple children.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– A positive, creative, and engaging attitude.
– Comfortable with the expectations of a screen-free environment for the children.
– Must be comfortable working in a home with two small dogs (friendly, hypoallergenic breeds).
– Ability to follow household routines and respect our parenting preferences.
Additional Requirements:
– Current First Aid and CPR certification.
– Criminal record clearance.
– Resume and references.
Additional Notes:
– Outings with the children are not required; all activities will take place in the home.
– We cannot accommodate additional children in our home during your working hours.
