Our client is a staffing, HR, and PEO (Professional Employer Organization) firm that provides outsourced HR and employer services to businesses with workers in Canada. Our dedicated team of professionals based in Cambridge, the GTA, to support clients in multiple industries across Ontario, nationally, and internationally.

Position Title: Outside Sales Representative

Location: Remote/ on the road.

Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexible)
Reporting To: Regional Vice President

Role Summary:

We’re seeking a highly motivated, people-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow into a full sales role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to be mentored by experienced professionals while contributing to both business development and client relationship efforts

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

· Conduct research to identify new business leads and build a quality pipeline.

· Make outbound phone and video calls to qualify leads and set appointments.

· Support Account Managers with both existing (farming) and new (hunting) client outreach.

· Maintain accurate records of all activity in our CRM system (HubSpot or Pipedrive).

· Assist with preparation of reports and support sales campaigns across multiple regions.

· Build strong relationships through professional, friendly, and clear communication.

· Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Ops, Marketing) to ensure smooth handoff and messaging alignment.

Operations & Workflow Management

· Proficient in CRM platforms like HubSpot or Pipedrive to manage workflows and lead tracking.

· Organized and detail-focused; documents all client interactions and follows set processes.

· Capable of researching and identifying high-potential leads aligned with strategic goals.

· Coordinates effectively across departments to maintain consistency and accuracy.

· Understands and applies outreach KPIs; uses data to refine activities and performance.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in outside or field sales, preferably in a B2B or service-based environment.

· Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

· Confident and professional on the phone, video calls, and in-person.

· Strong attention to detail and capable of producing concise research and reports.

· Comfortable with numbers and business software (Excel, CRM platforms).

· Naturally friendly, approachable, and quick to build rapport. Ambitious, eager to learn, and open to coaching and mentorship.

· Previous experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is an asset.

· Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel

Compensation:
• $60-65k base salary + commissions

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
