Job Summary
The Home Depot is seeking a Night Stocking Associate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for stocking merchandise, organizing the sales floor, and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role
This is a part-time contract position that requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, evenings, and weekends. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where you will be required to lift, push, and pull heavy items, as well as climb ladders up to 12-16 feet.
Key Responsibilities
• Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock
• Packing-out and packing-down merchandise as directed
• Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shoppability
• Communicating with other freight team members to ensure all product is stocked in the proper area
Customer Satisfaction
You will be expected to follow The Home Depot’s Customer Service model, greeting, engaging, and thanking customers. When required, you will ask open-ended questions about the customer’s projects to determine their needs and level of expertise.
Safety and Security
Moving freight safely from designated staging areas to overheads or bringing merchandise down from overheads using the appropriate equipment. Ensure customers are able to move through the aisles easily and safely. Follows all Safety and Loss Prevention Policies and Procedures.
