Our client is seeking a Machine to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the fabrication department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Description:
• Mark orders as started or completed on DMM.
• Set up and operate the spot weld machine, spot weld various parts, and deliver them to the appropriate station.
• Conduct periodic destructive tests on the weld.
• Set up and operate a variety of machines for fabricating specific parts, e.g., C6 and SG.
• Ensure the long-term integrity of equipment.
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge/experience reading basic wiring schematic symbols and those with experience using Amada punch press, Shear, JFY, and spot welding.
