Loss Prevention Associate

At Aritzia, we are looking for a motivated Loss Prevention Associate to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an organized, customer service-oriented individual who is passionate about providing shoplifters with the security and safety they deserve. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The Loss Prevention Associate must be able to work independently and collaboratively with the store team, while demonstrating a professional and friendly attitude. Qualifications include a minimum of two years’ experience in a retail setting, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer knowledge. Responsibilities:
Monitor customers in the store to identify and prevent potential shoplifting or other theft-related activities, utilizing CCTV cameras and other security equipment.
Perform security checks on customers entering and exiting the store.
Investigate and document theft-related incidents.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with store personnel and local law enforcement.
Assist with training and mentoring new Loss Prevention Associates.
Monitor and assist with store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with the implementation of loss prevention strategies and programs.
Conduct periodic audits of merchandise and store operations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loss prevention activities.
