Sky Castle Kitchen Staff —-Full Time/Part Time (New Horizon Mall)

This position will need an organized and proactive individual to help customers order their meals and prepare food.

General Accountabilities

· Greet and welcome customers. Take orders and use a cash register

· Be knowledgeable about menu items, menus changes and food preparation procedures to ensure a consistent guest experience

· Ability to work within a fast-paced environment that caters to the needs of children and families

· Ensure safe food handling procedures

· Prepare items to meet guest requests

· Proactively refill the line with ingredients/supplies

· Ensure that the kitchen area is always clean and orderly. Clean and sanitize kitchen area and equipment.

· Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure that guests are not at risk of allergic reactions

· Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Qualifications

· Previous experience in quick service is an asset

· Be able to lift items weighted over 25lbs safely

· Be able to stand for long periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Experience:
• Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
• cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
