This position at CNGL is designed to provide the incumbent with an opportunity to understand, learn and grow in multiple functions within CNGL. Initially the focus will be on the Office Administration and Bookkeeping. In the future, this function may see a career development into areas such as Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HSE, Human Resources, Recruitment — Depending upon candidate’s aptitude, willingness, personal drive, loyalty, and personality.

This is an invaluable exposure for the right candidate. This role at CNGL will provide the incumbent a breadth of experience while exposing them to the challenges faced by medium sized organizations. This opportunity will prepare someone’s career within CNGL from the starting to the directions of one or more of the possible portfolios.

Responsibilities

•Bookkeeping Support: Assist in basic financial recordkeeping and support the accounting function.

• Executive Support: Work closely with the Director on business, personal, and administrative priorities.

• Office Organization: Keep our downtown office organized and operating seamlessly.

• Administrative Coordination: Handle office activities and ensure compliance with internal policies.

• Calendar & Travel Management: Help manage schedules, appointments, and travel for senior leadership.

• Reception Duties: Greet visitors, manage calls and emails, and provide a professional front for the business.

• Employee Onboarding & HSE Admin: Support HR processes, especially with new hires and safety procedures.

• Event Planning: Assist in organizing both internal and client-facing events like Lunch & Learns, Stampede, and holiday parties.

• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare timely reports and presentations as needed.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates are welcome! (Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing, or Technical diploma/degree)
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role or industry will be an asset
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• A positive, outgoing personality who enjoys working with people
• Self-starter, quick learner, and proactive team player
• Comfortable multitasking and taking ownership of tasks
• High attention to detail and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing company
• Familiarity with office management procedures
