We are seeking a versatile and self-motivated IT Generalist to join our clients Information Systems team. Reporting to the Team Lead, this individual will work closely with other systems team members to provide comprehensive support for both local and remote users. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and contributing to ongoing projects as required.This position will work on-site in Calgary between two locations and requires the successful applicant have a driver’s license, and access to a vehicle. This position is being offered on a contract-to-hire basis with an initial term of 3-months.Key Responsibilities:Deliver first and second-tier help desk support to internal users.Troubleshoot technical issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.Support remote users using remote access tools and provide after-hours support when needed.Perform user account management within Active Directory – create, modify, and delete users; manage security groups.Create and manage email accounts and distribution lists using Exchange and Office 365.Support and administer systems in Azure, O365, and Intune environments.Maintain and monitor data backup systems (Veeam, Backup Exec).Accurately log and track service requests through Service Desk Plus.Provide hands-on support for hardware setup, deployment, and maintenance.Ensure clear and timely communication with users before, during, and after support calls.Work collaboratively with other IT team members to support ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and Crystal Reports.Maintain clear and concise documentation for processes and troubleshooting procedures.Assist with telephony setup, support, and troubleshooting.Provide network support including LAN/WAN connectivity and wireless access.Participate in the on-call rotation (after probation period).
