TutorBright is seeking dynamic individuals to join us as High School Math and Science Tutor-Mentors, helping K-12 students unlock the world of mathematical possibilities and scientific wonders. This part-time role empowers you to create a flexible schedule, connecting with students in-person and online.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct personalized tutoring sessions, focusing on math / science concepts, problem-solving, and application.
• Serve as a mentor and guide, inspiring students to conquer challenges and embrace the beauty of mathematics.
• Adapt teaching strategies to cater to individual learning styles and needs.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in mathematics and science concepts and applications.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
• Ability to work in-home.
• Located in Regina.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current or willingness to obtain a vulnerable sector police check.
Additional Assets:
• Enrolled in/completed a Bachelor’s program with a focus on mathematics.
• Graduate or enrolled in B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Math.
• Certified Teacher.
