I am currently seeking a dependable and diligent individual for a nanny position, primarily providing care for my 7 year old child during weekdays in Airdrie. The hours will be 7:00am-8:00am and 2:45pm-6:45pm Monday Wednesday Thursday, and 7:00am-8:00am and 12:00pm-6:45pm Friday. Anticipated start date scheduled for April 2nd, 2025. Pays would be the 8th and 23rd of each month.
Proficient time management is key as the position comprises responsibilities such as taking my child to and from school. Please be aware that the use of a personal vehicle may be necessary but is not required as we live close to the school.
In addition to transportation, the nanny will be expected to undertake tasks such as preparing daily meals (snacks and supper), planning activities, and occasional event organization for my child. My daughter is veering towards an affinity for the outdoors, hence, regular visits to parks and walks are encouraged. She also loves to read and craft, so it would be ideal to have a caregiver who appreciates her hobbies and can foster her interests.
This role does not concur with a live-in arrangement, instead the successful candidate should be a live-out nanny, available on-call during the necessary hours.
I must also emphasize that the new nanny will not only assume the responsibility of my child’s physical needs, but also her emotional and mental wellbeing. Therefore, an inherent love for children and the ability to establish a good relationship with my daughter is paramount.
