Job Description: Examination Assistant

Our client is seeking an Examination Assistant to support their national certification process and ensure the integrity of exam procedures. This hybrid role is based in mid-town Toronto and offers the chance to work with a collaborative team on meaningful regulatory work while applying your strong organizational and data entry skills in a fast-paced environment.
What’s in it for You:

Annual salary: $48,000–$50,000

2 weeks’ vacation, paid sick days, summer Friday hours, and holiday closures

Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; hybrid schedule (2–3 days in-office; full-time during onboarding)

Key Responsibilities:
Application Processing & Candidate Support

Verify candidate eligibility and review applications for completeness
-
Enter and verify application and payment details
-
Communicate with candidates by phone and email to follow up on missing information
Examination & Registration Administration

Assist with hand-scoring requests and result notifications
-
Support preparation and quality assurance of admission cards, result letters, and candidate packages
-
Help coordinate certificate mailing and licensing statements
-
Maintain accurate records and archive documents in database systems
General Administrative Support

Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying and filing
-
Handle confidential information securely and responsibly
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
-
2–3 years of administrative experience
-
Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

Technical Skills

Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Experience or willingness to learn relational database systems
