RAPS is Seeking a Part time community Support Worker to assist an individual with Down’s syndrome (E17)
Location: Whyte Ave
Days: Thursdays
Hours: 5:30pm-8:30pm
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to support on outings including client transportation, mentorship and guidance of independent life skills, support creating lasting relationships within the community, participation in activities (Swimming, walks, social outings and events), and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, have a class 5 driver’s license and vehicle for client transportation, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, be a Non-smoker, and have the ability to speak clear and fluent English.
The ideal candidate will have experience modeling and teaching life skills.
Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour + $0.70 per km for approved gas compensation
