About Us and The Instructor Role:
Oxford International Toronto is a well-established, highly-respected ESL school in downtown Toronto. We are looking to fill a part-time/hourly English Language Teacher position to staff our in-person classrooms at 111 Peter Street.
Expected dates are:
• June 2 and forward
Our international students are young learners to professional adults. They are studying to improve their knowledge of general and academic English, as well as have fun while in Canada
We supply the curriculum and you are welcome to supplement with your own creative ideas.
As our classes become available for teaching, you will be kept in the loop by email notification and if you are available, we will gladly schedule you to teach with us.
The Applicant Must Be:
• Have a university degree.
• Be certified with TESL Canada, TESL Ontario or CELTA.
• Experience teaching IELTS, Cambridge (FCE & CAE), TOEFL or TOEIC are assets as well as having taught overseas.
• Highly organized, professional, motivated, and creative.
• Have strong English communication skills and an excellent command of grammar.
• Comfortable and effective teaching all levels (including mixed-level classes) with at least 1 year of teaching experience.
