Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing technical projects, ensuring timely delivery, promoting engineering excellence, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that align with the company’s goals. Other responsibilities includes:
• Responsible for staff allocation and departmental planning to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets;
• Organize process engineers to implement effective measures to improve the yield of aluminum extrusion products, coordinate process engineers, extrusion die engineers, and die modification technicians to enhance extrusion speed, and manage aluminum extrusion process development;
• Lead the handling of customer complaints, major quality anomalies, non-conforming products, and after-sales claims, ensure the implementation of improvement measures and track their effectiveness, conduct product quality assessments during new product reviews, and drive continuous improvement of the quality management system;
• Formulate and execute the annual policy plan of the Technology & Quality Department, oversee and implement skills training and team-building initiatives for departmental personnel;
To be a qualified candidate you must have the following:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in aluminum extrusion dies, aluminum ingot melting and casting, and aluminum heat treatment;
• Expertise with hands-on experience in the following process: welding, stamping, roll forming process is a must have
• Possession of basic knowledge in aluminum extrusion, understanding of aluminum extrusion die structure and design, proficiency in aluminum extrusion testing methods, and experience in quality issue and root cause analysis;
