Duties:
– Conduct drum lessons for students of various ages and skill levels
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the needs and goals of each student
– Teach students proper drum techniques, rudiments, grooves, and drum ills
– Provide guidance and support to help students improve their musical skills and achieve their learning objectives
– Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow as drummers
– Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns or questions
Requirements:
– Proficiency in playing the drums and a strong understanding of music theory
– Experience working with children is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents/guardians
– Patience, adaptability, and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Note: University degree is not relevant to the position of Drum Instructor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
