
Edmontons Food Bank
Driver/Warehouse Assistant, is responsible for the logistics and coordination of the collection, storage and distribution of food for Edmonton’s Food Bank. The individual will assist in support functions for the collection and distribution of food products such as trucking, storing and redistibution. Key activities include:
• Transporting food and food related products
• Experienced 5 Ton Driver (minimum 5 years)
• Maintenance of vehicles and facility
• Accurate record keeping concerning food donations, proper recording of incoming and outgoing weight
• Working in the warehouse storing and ensuring the first in/first out rule for food handling is upheld.
• Cleaning and various warehouse activities
• Ensures safe food handling and safety standards are met and maintained
• Acts as a Food Bank Ambassador with donor stores and warehouses
