Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller . This leadership role will be pivotal in maintaining robust financial systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and driving strategic initiatives to support the organization’s growth.The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in financial management, accounting operations, and compliance, as well as strong managerial skills that will help foster team development and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:Maintain and oversee an information control system to ensure timely, accurate, and relevant financial data for effective business management.Provide strategic financial leadership to support the company’s growth and ensure high-quality results.Operational Oversight:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Review and enhance cost and other accounting processes, ensuring best practices are implemented.Ensure effective operating and management controls, recommending and executing necessary improvements.Financial Analysis and Forecasting:Analyze monthly financial performance and prepare detailed reports.Collaborate on budget preparation, monitor actuals against projections, and propose measures to optimize financial performance.Develop forecasts and projections to drive strategic growth and market share expansion.Compliance and Reporting:Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes efficiently and promptly.Prepare audit schedules and analyses, while managing relationships with external auditors and relevant service providers.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.Team Leadership and Development:Design and maintain an effective organizational structure within the accounting team to meet corporate needs.Manage hiring, training, performance management, and career development of accounting staff.Foster a supportive environment for skill enhancement and professional growth within the team.Qualifications and Skills Required:Proven experience in financial leadership roles, preferably as a Controller.Expertise in general and cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with the ability to recommend and implement system improvements.CPA or similar certification is preferred.Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP software, and compliance reporting.Preferred Industry Experience:Candidates with experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or engineering will be given preference.What We Offer:This role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on the strategic direction and financial health of the company while leading and developing a talented team.
