Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to support our busy family practice clinic. This position is ideal for an International Medical Graduate (IMG) currently preparing for their MCCQE or NAC OSCE exams and looking to gain valuable insight into the Canadian healthcare system. You will work directly under physician supervision and be exposed to a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks.
Duties
• Assist physicians in completing medical forms and documentation
• Coordinate and send referrals to specialists and allied health professionals
• Follow up with patients regarding test results, referrals, and treatment plans
• Review lab and imaging results under physician guidance
• Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, updating charts, and patient communication
• Ensure smooth clinic flow and assist with patient intake when needed
Experience
• Medical degree from an international institution (IMG)
• Currently preparing for Canadian licensing exams (e.g., MCCQE1, NAC OSCE)
• Excellent communication skills (English fluency required)
• Familiarity with EMR system( Healthquest) is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
