Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Class 1 Truck Driver at Cobra Rebar Okanagan, located in Coldstream, BC. The Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a truck, adhering to DOT regulations, and ensuring safe transportation of goods. Daily tasks include loading and unloading cargo, performing safety checks, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and collaboration with other team members to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class 1 drivers licence & clean abstract
• Proficient in loading and unloading cargo
• Knowledge of and compliance with DOT regulations
• Ability to maintain trucks and perform routine safety inspections
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in the construction or rebar industry is a plus
