Position: Elementary School Teacher – International Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver dynamic, engaging lessons aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum for Grades 1–8 (potentially including KG–Grade 10).
• Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive classroom that supports students from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Collaborate with both local and international staff to promote student achievement.
• Engage in school-wide activities and continuous professional development.
• Develop and implement creative, curriculum-aligned lesson plans with a strong focus on core subjects, especially Math.
• Communicate regularly and constructively with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative educational culture.
• Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring a well-structured and organized learning environment.
• Provide targeted tutoring and support for students who need additional help.
• Regularly assess student progress and deliver feedback that encourages academic growth.
• Foster a classroom culture that respects and meets the diverse needs of every learner.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field; Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification from Canada, the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Ireland.
• Minimum of 2 years of elementary-level teaching experience.
• Experience with the Ontario curriculum is a strong asset.
• Previous international or cross-cultural teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and adaptability skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with tutoring strategies and differentiated instruction.
• French language skills are an advantage, but not required—willingness to incorporate French into lessons is encouraged.
