Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to company standards
– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
– Provide excellent customer service by greeting, interacting with, and serving customers in a friendly manner
– Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including brewing equipment, counters, and display cases
– Handle food items such as pastries and sandwiches for customer orders
– Process transactions accurately and handle cash transactions
– Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
Requirements
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of cash handling procedures
– Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and processing payments
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Experience in the food industry is a plus
– Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food preparation procedures

Pay:
$16.55-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours:
40 – 45 per week
