Canadian Heart Care is looking to recruit a Registered Cardiology Technologist to join their team in Brampton/Mississauga. The client is one of the fastest growing diagnostic services firms with clinics across GTA.
Reporting to the clinic manager, you will be responsible for working alongside patients to conduct ECG testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BP monitoring in compliance with CSCT guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring patient identification, safety, and preparation are correct prior to testing while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Perform all cardiac testing techniques including Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory BP monitoring in compliance with CSCT guidelines.
• Ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required.
• Take all reasonable precautions and work in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation, and best practices.
• Follow procedures for proper equipment maintenance, in accordance with department standards.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are performing in an efficient and effective manner.
• Prepare reports as required.
Essential Criteria
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Completion of a Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists recognized Diploma program in Cardiology Technology.
• Current certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists or eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
• Current CPR certificate.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
• Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.
Job Types:

Pay:
$28.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours:
16 – 40 per week

• Exercise Stress Testing: 1 year (preferred)
