Job Title: Box Office Coordinator

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position must be available in-person.

Schedule:
• Winnipeg Festival: July 17 – 20, 2025. July 17 will be a partial day dedicated to on-site training at Assiniboine Park. July 18, 19, and 20 are full event days.

Compensation: A flat rate of $750 for the Winnipeg Great Outdoors Comedy Festival event weekend!

The Role:

Are you a customer service and ticketing extraordinaire? Can you ensure guests enjoy a smooth check in process while keeping the laughs rolling? If so, this role may be for you!

The Box Office Coordinator role plays a key part in ensuring all our customers feel taken care of, maximizing their enjoyment of our events.

This role will assist with setup of the box office, processing customer tickets, and providing superior guest service! This role requires excellent organizational skills, customer service prowess, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring we have a friendly and helpful presence in the box office at all times;
• Assisting with ticketing and accreditation, as required;
• Assist in creating the Box Office and Guest Service area to be inviting and festival-branded (e.g. plants, signage, staff shirts, backdrop, lighting, etc);
• Other administrative duties around the Box Office, as required.

Qualifications :
• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Events experience is an asset.
• Experience working in a box office would be preferred.
