Job Summary

Machi Machi Richmond Hill (machimachi.ca) is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Bubble Tea Barista to join our team! If you love crafting delicious drinks, engaging with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. As a Bubble Tea Barista, you will be responsible for preparing our signature drinks, providing top-tier service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea and specialty drinks according to Machi Machi’s recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drink preparation area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service, especially during peak hours.
• Follow all local food safety and beverage handling regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a café, bubble tea shop, or food service environment is an asset but not required—training will be provided!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and efficiently manage multiple drink orders.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in drink quality and presentation.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
