Last minute movers
Duties:
– Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, tires, and brakes
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
– Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation, and delivery
Experience:
– Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role preferred
– Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
– Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently
– Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
– Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and moving of cargo
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
